Danish lighting designer, born in Copenhagen 1975. Educated from the Danish National School of performing Arts in Copenhagen 2001. From 2009-2017 he was head of the lightdesign education at the same school. Artistically he covers a wide field of performing arts, film, television and architecture – primarily working in theatres around Scandinavia as The Royal Theatre in Copenhagen and Aarhus Theatre in Denmark, Gothenburg Opera, Malmö Opera, The Royal Dramatic Theatre in Sweden. At the Royal Theatre in Copenhagen he designed light for opera, ballet and drama - among other The Fall Of the King directed by Carlus Padrissa, Masquerade directed by Herbert Fritsch Ghosts directed by Michael Thalheimer and The Seagull directed by Katie Mitchell with whom he also did The Rings of Saturn at Schauspiel Köln. With Director Roger Vontobel he did the light for Siegfrids Erben at the Nibelungen Festspiele 2018 and The Crucible at the Royal Theatre in Copenhagen. Opera titles includes Don Quichotte at Bregnzer Festspiele and The Fairy Queen at Theater an der Wien directed by Mariame Clément.
